Petra is the owner of Heron Lake Press and the creator of Mixed Emotions, a tool that helps people put their feelings into words. Before moving to an island in Washington State, she spent 12 years as a writer and editor in public relations and in software documentation.
In her (extremely little) spare time, Petra enjoys photography, knitting, spinning yarn, reading, and wondering if she has the bandwith to expand her little farm from its current 13 chickens and two ducks to include fiber sheep, dairy goats, a sheep dog, and a hive of bees.
Petra's raison d'etre is her 8-year-old son Adrian.
